The RN Community Hospital Clinical Director is responsible for providing leadership and the delivery of excellent patient care, including workforce management, clinical quality, engagement, financial management and oversight, and professional practice. Provides leadership and creates a culture that supports the delivery of patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based care across the continuum. Manages costs and enhances efficiencies by continually seeking data and pursuing innovative concepts to improve the patient experience. Accountable for 24/7 operations in the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policy. Responsible for patient outcomes that meet high quality care standards through collaborative practice with members of the care team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of science degree in nursing
- Five years of progressive experience in ED and/or inpatient care services
- Three years of leadership experience including leading teams, projects and/or related experience (e.g., charge nurse, clinical educator, supervisor role)
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) required
