Our Client, a Technology company, is looking for Project Manager III for their San Francisco, CA/Remote location.


Responsibilities:
  • A Delivery Manager in Logistics holds a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from origin to destination.
Their key responsibilities encompass a broad range of tasks:
Overseeing Delivery Operations:
  • Planning and Scheduling: Strategically organizing delivery routes, schedules, and resources to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Coordinating Deliveries: Overseeing the entire delivery process, from pick-up to final drop-off, ensuring all goods arrive on time and in good condition.
  • Tracking and Monitoring: Utilizing technology and logistics systems to track shipments in real-time, proactively addressing any potential issues.
  • Managing Delivery Teams: Leading and motivating a team of drivers and delivery personnel, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Customer Satisfaction:
  • Communication: Maintaining clear and open communication with customers, providing updates and proactively resolving any concerns.
  • Issue Resolution: Swiftly addressing any delivery-related problems or customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivating strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and exceeding their expectations.
Efficiency and Optimization:
  • Cost Control: Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures across the delivery operation, maximizing profitability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyzing and optimizing delivery processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
  • Technology Adoption: Evaluating and implementing new technologies to streamline operations, improve tracking, and increase productivity.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring full compliance with all relevant transportation, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Safety Protocols: Implementing and enforcing robust safety protocols to protect both employees and the public.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
  • Vendor Management: Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers or carriers.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Generating regular reports on delivery performance, KPIs, and identifying areas for improvement.
