Job Description

The Vice President of Technology at Elevate Entertainment Group (EEG) will lead the Technology department, overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the company’s goals. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and the ability to drive innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute the Technology strategy to support the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee the management of Technology infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of systems.
  • Lead and mentor the Technology team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments and our venues to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Technology services.
  • Develop and manage the Technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a deep understanding of Technology infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

Education + Experience + Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior Technology leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing IT teams, operations, and projects.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.
  • At least 3 years’ experience with payment processing networks and WAN environments.
  • Experience working in Hospitality, F&B, or other customer facing industry preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
