Working with the Retail Support Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the inbound and outbound functions to include inventory control and building profiling/space utilization. The Warehouse Manager will assist with the warehouse's strategic direction and communicates initiatives in an effective manner to achieve the expected levels of execution.

Working with the Retail Support Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the inbound and outbound functions to include inventory control and building profiling/space utilization. The Warehouse Manager will assist with the warehouse's strategic direction and communicates initiatives in an effective manner to achieve the expected levels of execution.
Primary job responsibilities:
- Lead, support and encourage Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork.
- Oversee activities directly related to warehouse operations, utilizing Lean tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety. Support all safety programs . Ensure all best practice procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrates the ability to create a positive employee relations environment which results in high performing teams.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures; conferring with senior leadership, staff members and others within the organization as necessary.
- Review financial statements and reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Establish processes to ensure the highest quality and most efficient deliveries to Ace retailers.
- Ensure all headcount and labor hour goals of the warehouse are met.
- Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance. Plan and direct activities of others.
- Create developmental opportunities for direct reports, as well as for their subordinates.
- Actively pursue succession planning for self and subordinates.
- Flexible to deal with issues that arise outside of normal business hours.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships between warehouse departments, traffic and human resources.
Salary Range: $106,000 to 133,000
- Annual performance bonus on achieving successful goals

Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in the field of distribution
- Demonstrated knowledge of productivity measurement tools
- Preferred working knowledge of Ace policies and procedures
- Previous experience managing exempt level Supervisors/Managers
- Working knowledge of AS400, SAP, and Microsoft products
- Successful management experience involving multiple areas of responsibility with Retail Support
