Job Overview:

The Senior Analyst, Data Analytics will play a key role in developing actionable insights and recommendations that enable timely and effective operational and strategic decision-making. This individual will partner closely with key leaders and operational staff in the business to define key metrics, set up reporting, track key data, perform ad hoc analyses to answer critical business questions, help assess profitability, and build models to forecast and track trends. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and working independently, able to focus on details while thinking strategically, and an excellent problem solver.


This role will sit within the Business and Wealth Solutions organization, focused on offering a variety of services and programs designed to help advisors run extraordinary businesses by enhancing their relationships and meeting the holistic needs of their clients. Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with internal customers to align analytical approaches with business requirements. Apply creativity and initiative to create new and improve existing solutions to achieve these requirements and answer business questions.
  2. Apply industry best practices to identify data-driven trends, patterns, opportunities, and risks.
  3. Summarize, communicate, and present key insights to business stakeholders, leverage data visualization to support storytelling for various areas of the business, such as sales, capacity/resourcing, profitability, customer satisfaction, and quality.
  4. Establish reporting for key metrics and data framework, tracking trends and forecasting key metrics, including creation and management of Tableau dashboards and data flows.
  5. Interface with tech development team to ensure necessary data is captured in new digital tools.
  6. Leverage data from various sources to establish automated operational and up-line reporting.
  7. Perform ad hoc analyses to answer critical business questions.
  8. Develop consultative and trusted relationships with business stakeholders to solve problems and foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferred major in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related discipline.
  2. Demonstrated skill directly supporting a business with analytics or in finance; 2+ years experience required.
  3. Excel and Tableau expertise.
  4. Proficient working with relational databases and gathering data from distributed technologies and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS).
  5. Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills that enable establishing and evolving the analytics framework for new services.
  6. Skilled communicator in meetings and via PowerPoint.
  7. Self-starter, who is organized and attentive to detail in order to successfully juggle multiple priorities.

Preferences:

  1. Financial services domain knowledge.
  2. Financial modeling experience.

Pay Range:

$90,680-$136,020/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
