The Opportunity


As an Enterprise Account Executive, Growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of MongoDB. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within an existing customer base, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful adoption of our solutions.


What You'll Be Doing


  1. Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users
  2. Grow a current base of MongoDB customers by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting
  3. Manage the full sales cycle for all MongoDB Products & Services
  4. Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve revenue targets
  5. Collaborate with the sales ecosystem to drive sales initiatives and partnerships
  6. Build a sales pipeline in Salesforce and Clari while maximizing prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, and Outreach

What You'll Bring To The Role


  1. 5+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience with a focus on closing new workloads and expanding accounts
  2. Demonstrated ability to successfully expand existing accounts and sell horizontally across the organization into different business units
  3. A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  4. Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  5. Co-selling with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP and Azure) and large GSIs (Accenture, KPMG, etc) is a plus
  6. Must live in territory (flexible work model)
  7. Fluent in English

  3. Familiarity with databases, develops and open source technology a plus

$135,000 — $135,000 USD
