Tax Expert - Business Operations

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 3+ years of business tax preparation experience to join our team as a Tax Expert - Business Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to shape the direction of one of our newest product offerings, TurboTax Live Business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert tax advice to business customers using video communication software
• Complete business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate and thorough tax advice
• Document customer interactions and maintain high quality customer experiences
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience
• Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of Circular 230
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
