What you'll be doing:
Maintain and monitor CM Group's data and data flow processes to ensure accurate information is used and submitted for regulatory and statistical reporting. Analyze business data and reporting solutions that may include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and implementing newly developed and/or modernizing reports and processes. Mentor Data Management Analysts.
**This is a HYBRID position that requires 2 days per week IN the office and can be based in one of the below locations:
On any given day, you'll:
• Develop, produce, maintain, and enhance reporting for external and internal data requests.
• Develop complex data call formulas and calculations, manipulate and reconcile data, and assure compliance with requirements and time standards. Interpret and communicate the results of reported data with various regulatory entities and bureaus.
• Research, formulate, implement, and communicate moderate to complex data and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Perform advanced analysis of data, processes, workflows, documentation, and systems/systems development to provide assurance of data integrity, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive communication with internal departments regarding data concerns/issues with input errors or incorrect/inaccurate interpretations of policy coverage.
• Recommend, initiate, and establish process and efficiency improvements, quality control measures, and reporting best practices, including the application of mathematical analytics, theories, concepts, and reasoning.
• Research, interpret, and apply industry requirements and acquire necessary clarifications and develop, document, maintain, and implement complex business and technical requirements, including financial data workbooks, utilizing worksheet automation programming.
• Develop and perform business testing and post-production monitoring.
• Monitor the status of projects and communicate with manager issues that may adversely affect project completion.
• Participate in projects of various size and scope which impact data and regulatory reporting, including involvement in cross-functional change management working groups and committees.
• Identify opportunities and recommend data and reporting initiatives that support corporate strategic plans, goals, and objectives.
• Provide information related to statistical data and data resolution, policy coverage and data relationship, source files and data flow, industry and internal business and technical requirements, and reporting, including interpretation and clarification of content and application.

• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in analytics or a related field is preferred. May consider equivalent education and/or work experience in lieu of degree.
• Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred, or other insurance experience required.
• Regulatory and statistical reporting experience required.
• Typically, three or more years' experience analyzing and reporting data, processes, and workflows within a property casualty insurance setting is required.
• Evidence of ability to perform advanced analysis and develop complex data call formulas and calculations.
• Knowledge and understanding of insurance business functions, including related reporting and terminology nuances and objectives.
• Understand data information systems and the relationship to business data, including the flow of policy coverage and claims data from the point of entry through all applicable computer systems.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
• Proficient knowledge of computer tools for retrieval and manipulation of relevant data/information and software used by external sources.
• Demonstrated communication, negotiation, and consensus building skills.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage time, organize work with minimal supervision, and meet stringent timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to provide direction and leadership to other team members.

USD $69,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Compensation
USD $103,500.00/Yr.
