Alternate Perspectives, Incorporated (API) has an immediate opening for a Center Director at one of our operated Job Corps Locations. If you want to be a part of a dynamic team that helps young people ages 16-24 years old, this job is for you! You will be a part of the nation’s most successful youth training and education program, Job Corps, for the past 60 years.

As the Center Director, you will serve as the leader of the organization, setting the vision, mission, and values for the center. You will be responsible for leading the team in developing and implementing programs that will meet the needs of our students and center community while creating a culture of excellence. You will have the opportunity to influence and inspire the staff and students around you while fostering an environment of collaboration and creativity. Some Additional Essential Functions:

  1. Plan, coordinate and direct the administrative and programmatic activities of the center.
  2. Coordinate with DOL and API to ensure efficient center functioning and contract compliance.
  3. Develop and monitor center budget, control expenditures, analyze and review financial statements, budget estimates, justifications for proposed expenditures, and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
  4. Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures and written center operating procedures affecting the center.
  5. Analyze proposals and coordinate with the corporate office on proposal preparation, negotiation, and contractual modifications.
  6. Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and implement organizational and personnel actions as required and in compliance with corporate policy.
