Job Requirements / Description
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, Richmond, VA, or Princeton, NJ, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL concepts to develop and maintain automated APIs and ETL pipelines that support DG tools.
- At least 2 years of experience in tactical implementation of data governance (DG).
- At least 6 months of experience in Data Privacy.
- At least 2 years of experience on Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and Data Quality tools like Collibra, Manta, data warehousing technology, and RDBMS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of Data Governance Processes, Policies & Framework.
- Experience in conducting unit testing, integration testing, and UAT as required.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.
- Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
- Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.
- Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
- Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising Business and Technology teams.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
