Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to manage and oversee our weekly payroll process. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll, with a preference for those familiar with staffing company payroll. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, managing multi-state tax setups, handling garnishments, and providing excellent customer service for payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage Weekly Payroll : Ensure timely processing of weekly payroll, balancing tasks for both current and previous pay periods.
• High-Volume Payroll Experience : Process payroll for a large number of employees across multiple states.
• Multi-State Tax Codes : Set up and manage multi-state payroll tax codes, including local taxes, but no tax filing required.
• Garnishments : Understand and handle garnishments, responding to them promptly and efficiently.
• Customer Service : Provide support and resolution for employees experiencing payroll issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Organization & Detail : Stay organized and detail-oriented in managing complex payroll tasks and multi-state regulations.
• Excel Proficiency : Utilize advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, for payroll processing and data management.
• ATS and Payroll System : Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and payroll systems is preferred.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a staffing company or high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax setups.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP functions.
• Familiarity with ATS and payroll systems.
