The Atlantic Group has partnered with a reputable private equity firm in Back Bay that is looking to hire an Operations Associate to join their team!


This role supports a diverse and complex internal investor relations team, contributing to the effective management of the firm's portfolio. The position requires a well-rounded skill set in accounting, finance, and tax, paired with a high standard of operational excellence. The successful candidate will play an integral part in improving efficiency, versatility, and the quality of both internal processes and external communications within the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Interact professionally with investors, providing client services support and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manage the team’s central email inbox, serving as the primary point of contact and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Assist in the capital call process, including generating and distributing invoices, managing collections, depositing checks, and coordinating loan program activities.
  • Act as the primary contact for banking relationships, setting up new accounts, maintaining wiring instructions and authorized signer records, and processing deposits.
  • Support the distribution process by preparing and posting distribution notices, coordinating signatures for wire transfers and checks, and managing loan program activities.
  • Help develop, maintain, and enhance various systems and applications, such as general ledger, contact management, report generation, and distribution systems utilized by internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation, and manage investor-related forms and records.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in operations, family office, or investor relations within the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing technology to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities and sound judgment, capable of taking initiative and making decisions independently.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • A team-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with professionals across all levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
