Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using python, Kubernetes, and ansible.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD processes using GitLab, Jenkins, and other standard SecDevOps tools to ensure smooth code development, integration and delivery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of cloud-based (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability best practices.
- Research and implement new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement in the software delivery process.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow team members and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges.
Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 16 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 10 years with Ph.D; mininim 18 years in lieu of degree.
Expert knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence- Expert in use of automation tools such as Python, Powershell, Terraform, Ansible.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and coach teammates.
- Ability to collaboratively interact with customers including senior management, data scientists, and end users.
- TS/SCI with poly
Desired
- Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as K8s and Docker.
- Experience with virtualization including virtual clusters for processing optimization
- Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
- Experience with Splunk to enhance logging, monitoring, and analytic capabilities
- Experience with EC2, S3.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies

Target Salary Range
$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
