Fund Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client, located in the Los Angeles area, who is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $95,000 per year.

Job Description

1. Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements, general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, and cash flow projections.
2. Perform daily activities such as daily cash entries, review and post draws, and perform bank reconciliations.
3. Prepare contribution and distribution calculations, summaries, and notices as needed.
4. Ad hoc projects including system implementation and departmental integration.

Requirements

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP accounting and Fund Accounting.
3. Experience in Yardi.
4. Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
