Program Director - Cybersecurity Focus

We are seeking a dynamic Program Director with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity to lead strategic initiatives within our organization. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our cybersecurity agenda, ensuring that our projects are aligned with the latest industry standards and best practices. This position, represented by Phoenix Pro Connect, offers an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing IT company based in Florida, near Jacksonville, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the development and refinement of project strategies, ensuring they are robust, achievable, and in line with cutting-edge cybersecurity protocols.
  2. Task Management: Oversee the delegation of tasks among team members, ensuring clear definition of responsibilities that align with individuals' expertise.
  3. Success Criteria: Establish clear criteria for success, defining quality benchmarks and desired outcomes to drive project effectiveness.
  4. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee that all activities meet or surpass established criteria, maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity excellence.
  5. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate results and findings to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations, highlighting key vulnerabilities and recommending actionable improvements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant portion in leadership roles overseeing complex security projects.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and project management, with certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
  4. Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  5. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, ensuring alignment and collaboration across diverse teams.
