WGA Advisors is actively seeking a Senior Consultant Capabilities and Insights Analytics Expert within the Aerospace and Defense industry. This role is designed for a dynamic professional skilled in leveraging analytics to drive strategic decisions, enhance operational capabilities, and provide deep industry insights. The ideal candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of data analytics, combined with a solid grasp of the Aerospace and Defense sector’s unique challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Analytics Implementation: Develop and implement advanced analytics strategies that support decision-making processes, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives within the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Data-Driven Insights: Generate actionable insights through the analysis of complex data sets, helping clients to understand market dynamics, operational performance, and future trends.
- Capability Enhancement: Work closely with clients to enhance their analytical capabilities, advising on best practices, tools, and technologies that can drive significant improvements in data utilization and decision-making.
- Industry Expertise: Provide expert analysis on Aerospace and Defense industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments, informing client strategies and operational adjustments.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively communicating complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation and Solution Development: Identify opportunities for innovative analytics solutions that can solve industry-specific challenges, leading the development and implementation of these initiatives.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor analytics teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence in analytics practices.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses, providing clients with strategic insights to mitigate potential challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
- Performance Measurement: Design and implement KPIs and performance metrics to track the success of analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Business Development Support: Contribute to business development activities by providing expertise in analytics, developing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on quantitative analysis.
– Minimum of 7 years’ experience in analytics, with at least 3 years focused on the Aerospace and Defense industry.
– Demonstrated expertise in applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
– Proficient in analytics tools and software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
– Strong understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industry, including key drivers, challenges, and regulatory considerations.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for clients.
– Proven track record of leading analytics projects and teams, delivering high-impact results.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Compensation:
– Competitive salary based on experience. $135,890 – $155,340 per year
– Comprehensive benefits package, including an annual performance bonus.
