Summary: International Inspections is seeking an experienced NDT Level II UT-SW Tech for their busy office in Portland, Oregon.
Typically 32-40+ hours per week depending on projects. Fab shops mostly with AWS D1.5 and D1.1 project work as well as ASME B31.3 and Sec VIII work. This shop prides itself on getting it done right the first time. Looking for candidates with decent and relevant experience.
While this position will be expected to help in a variety of ways, the following are part of the core purpose of the position and will likely be done on a daily basis:
Perform non-destructive testing and examination at client sites
  • Manage equipment and materials necessary for the completion of inspection
  • Compile client reports including drawings using CAD and word processors
  • Meet deadlines for work and reports, potentially on nights and weekends
  • Work with clients to locate and identify indications and their probable causes
  • General shop-assistant duties to keep the NDT shop in working order

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Level II candidates with UTSW experience, able to certify immediately. Additional certs a plus.
  • Experience with isometric drawings, AutoCAD or BricsCAD a plus
  • High School Diploma, GED, or College Certification
  • Documented NDT classroom training and method experience (OJT) hours for Level II candidates
  • Valid Driver's License
  • MUST BE United States citizen
