PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 2 in Scottsdale, Arizona
Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy stable, performant software systems by proactively discovering and mitigating software production issues. Develop and deliver APIs supporting PayPal user experiences on various channels (web, mobile, etc.), as well as integrations with partners. Build and implement scalable software solutions that enable easy integration of PayPal services into partner products. Drive engineering excellence through CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery/Deployment) and test automation. Identify any product/functionality gaps and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support software solution delivery. Participate in complex architectural discussions that involve multiple systems within a large, distributed architecture, in addition to peer software code review and in all scrum team activities. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the project and demonstrate completed work to stakeholders. Understand the developer needs and deliver the API that meets their needs. Telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
