As Head of IT/ Business Partner the successful candidate will drive transformation in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management through leveraging ERP (planned: Microsoft Dynamics 365), MES solutions (e.g. electronic batch record management, MasterControl, labelling, serialization), planning and surrounding digital solutions. You will lead system architecture and lifecycle management (plan, design, implementation, operation), closely collaborate with Business teams, DIT teams, the systems and data architects and partner with vendors to ensure to the success of core business goals.

Requirements

  • Liaise with site management to understand and support their IT needs. Communicate effectively with regional and global IT teams to align site activities with broader initiatives.
  • Lead and transform solutions leveraging ERP, MES and surrounding systems such as Serialization Management, LIMS, eMBR and labelling especially for vaccine manufacturing in accordance with business and technology priorities.
  • Lead and transform solutions leveraging ERP and surrounding systems such as Planning, especially for Supply Chain Management and CMO management, transportation and ESG topics in accordance with business and technology priorities.
  • Leverage excellent subject matter expertise in the areas above, communication, teamwork, and governance skills to resolve challenges.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining Digital & IT roadmaps in alignment with business strategic plans within Product Supply in global and region while evaluating standard solutions (especially ERP and MES components) to maximize investments.
  • Collaborate and harmonize with the other Digital & IT (especially the architects) functions to maximize business values while ensuring strategic alignment, compliance, security, and technology standards.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and closing Digital & IT projects to realize business goals in corporation with the business/IT functions and partner vendors.
  • Responsible for transition of solutions to service operation functions while developing system operation plan and providing knowledge transfer in corporate with the stakeholders.
  • Responsible for taking part and/or coordinating to analyze, design, implement, and test change requests in corporate with the business/IT functions and partner vendors.
  • Responsible for taking part and/or coordinating to resolve escalated incidents in corporate with the business/IT functions and partner vendors while reporting the Value Stream Lead and stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Oversee all IT operations at the site, including infrastructure, applications, and support services. Ensure reliable and secure IT systems to support site-specific business processes.
  • Develop and manage the site IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Monitor and report on IT expenditures.
  • Lead and manage the site IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

Experience

  • Experience managing IT operations in a manufacturing, logistics, or similar environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge in the area MES (MasterControl, Labware) and or ERP (Dynamics 365) is essential – you have at least 3 years configuration experience in either at least three ERP submodules (such as master planning, advanced warehouse setup or production control) or within the MES applications in scope.
  • (Preferred) ERP Key User experience.
  • (Preferred) PMP or equivalent certification.
  • (Preferred) Experience of implementation, operation and/or maintenance of ERP peripheral systems in Product Supply such as Artwork Management, Serialization Management, MES etc.
