Description: Home-School Counselor
Job Summary: Work collaboratively with school staff to provide counseling and mental health support services to students with social-emotional learning needs, to help students grow and learn effectively.
Essential Functions:
Provide individual and group counseling to students with social-emotional learning needs
Provide positive behavior supports and interventions
Provide individual and small group instruction in the areas of social-emotional learning, behavioral management, and self-regulation
Ability to coach school staff members to adequately implement mental health support strategies
Collaboratively work with current school counselors to support students with social-emotional needs
Progress monitor students growth and achievement
Experience working with adolescents (specifically ages 10-14 is a plus)
Integral member of a behavior support team in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans and interventions
Collaboaratively work with school teams and families to meet student need
Possess strong communication skills and strategies
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate a variety of computer literacy skills

Requirements:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor or NH certification as a School Counselor
