Job Requirements / Description

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Act as a front-line interface to clients by accepting, prioritizing and resolving helpdesk trouble reports and tickets while providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Onsite visits to client location as needed. Mileage reimbursed.
  3. Administer various user accounts including but not limited to: new user setup, network permissions, configuration of corporate e-mail via Microsoft Exchange & distribution list maintenance.
  4. Maintain and update standard desktop/laptop configurations.
  5. Install and provide support for all hardware and peripherals.
  6. Troubleshoot printers/copiers & escalate service issues to vendors if needed.
  7. Troubleshoot application system issues, resolve and recommend solutions.
  8. Virus mitigation and/or cleansing of infected systems.
  9. Maintain and update IT asset inventory.
  10. Create & distribute user manuals/cheat sheet documentation as needed.
  11. Research issues to resolve problems outside of knowledgebase.
  12. Address all other technical issues as they arise.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  1. Strong communication and problem-solving skills required for both helping end users and resolving issues with vendors with minimal oversight.
  2. Ability to take ownership of problems, work alone or with others to follow them to a successful resolution.
  3. Experience maintaining network & phone cabling and LANs.
  4. Familiar with computer configurations.
  5. Knowledge of Apple iPhone configuration.
  6. Working knowledge of Office 365 admin and Azure Entra.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
