Key Responsibilities:
* CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision components.
* Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate machining and adherence to specifications.
* Practical Knowledge: Be familiar with most, if not all the following brands of CNC machines: Haas, Hurco, Matsura, Mazak, and Prototrak.
* Software Expertise: Be adept in the use of the following software programs: DraftSight, GibbsCAM and Solidworks.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of finished products using various measuring tools to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
* Machine Setup and Calibration: Prepare machines for production runs, including tool selection, installation, and calibration.
* Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to enhance machining processes and improve overall efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
* Knowledge of CNC programming and setup.
* Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
* Basic understanding of machining processes and materials.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to lift and carry materials weighing at least 30 lbs. A crane can/will be utilized for heavier loads.
* Must be able to adhere to all safety rules and regulations as required by BWC policies and any related local, state, and federal laws.
