We are currently hiring a Clinical Specialist to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As the Clinical Specialist , you would be responsible for:
- Assisting the Nurse Manager, RN’s and LPN’s with managing the healthcare needs of the individuals served in the agency’s Residential Program.
- Remaining in communication with Program staff and management, providers, nurses, doctors, ER staff, case management, pharmacies, parents, guardians, advocates, school administrators, and Agency leadership.
- Providing direct support to individuals served in the agency as needed.
- Possessing knowledge of basic medical terms, proper medication administration, and other clinical disciplines.
Minimum Salary: $18.55/hour
Maximum Salary: $18.55/hour
Schedule: M-F 8:30am – 5pm; may be required to work extended hours or a flexible schedule with short notice.
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional in the I/DD field
