The Account Executive willc ustomarily and regularly spend more than half of his/her working time away from his/her established office engaged in activities related to selling products or services distributed by VectorUSA to customers.

What Your Typical Day Will Be

  • You will be in a critical role with primary responsibility for the overall solutions to meet client business requirements
  • Participate in campaigns, to drive solution sales in the nine core competencies: Wireless Mobility, Unified Communications, Intelligent Surveillance, Audio Visual/Video Collaboration, Professional Services, Innovative Infrastructure, Servers and Storage, Data Networking, and Managed Services
  • You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing all prospects within the assigned region or assigned accounts
  • Responsibilities also include presenting the company’s products and services, establishing pricing, negotiating terms and conditions, developing bid proposals, obtaining initial orders, establishing account profiles and conducting aggressive account development
  • This position is also responsible for maintaining awareness of competitive activity and product and industry knowledge
  • Meeting and speaking with actual or potential customers
  • Driving to visit actual or potential customers
  • You will focus on the customers continued satisfaction and growth
  • You will take an active role with the client before, during and after installation of projects is required to ensure the client is and stays satisfied with the work done
  • Network, develop and maintain great working relationships with sales professionals, decision makers, and procurement officers
  • Troubleshooting account issues
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Table

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent industry sales experience with track record of selling advanced technology solutions
  • Sales-level understanding of networking and data center technologies from Cisco, HP, Aruba, Microsoft and others.
  • Excellent solution selling capability
  • Demonstrated sales and account development experience with growth in both revenue and gross profit
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Determine line item costs for labor, materials and equipment
  • Ability to develop detailed equipment lists and BOM’s (Bill of Materials) for the entire project
  • Must be prompt in all follow-up with client’s questions, issues or concerns
  • Experienced in working with customer, departmental, and executive staff
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects at once
  • Proactive approach to organization and problem solving
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • You must have the ability to absorb technical information and execute
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience, or equivalent corporate training
  • Cisco, Aruba, or HP sales certifications are a plus

Work Environment

Traveling and working at remote locations, causing exposure to outdoor elements as well as a variety of indoor environments. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Physical Requirements

Compensation range starting at: $70,000.00/yr.
