Job Summary

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for identifying critical areas in our current business processes that require improvement. This position develops and implements new strategies and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful adoption of new procedures. Support the implementation and configuration of new technologies/systems to enhance the overall process. Conduct process audits and performance assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the new processes and provide training and support to the team members to ensure that the best practices are followed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough data analyses and process mapping of current business processes, workflows and procedures to identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement optimized processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on proposed changes.

  • Design and implement process improvement initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions with limited disruption to operations.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, measuring key performance indicators, and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and process improvement methodologies.

  • Monitor process audits and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments.

  • Create process documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.

  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

  • 4+ years of experience in business process analysis and project management

  • Working knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3.

  • Familiarity with process mapping and modeling techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.

  • Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to receive constructive feedback from key stakeholders and continuously collaborate to develop the most effective solution.

Preferred knowledge, skills, and experience

  • Relevant certification in business process management or a related field.

  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.

  • Experience in project management and change management.

  • Knowledge of specific industry regulations and standards.

  • Experience in change management methodologies.

  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools.
