Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care in Kearney, NE

**Job Description:**
- Work in a 33-bed ICU unit with an average daily census of 16.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2-3 for adults and 1:2-4 for pediatrics.
- Common patient diagnoses include sepsis, post-stent procedures, pacemaker placements, strokes, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress.
- RNs are required to titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation.
- Health Support Tech available Monday to Friday from 0800 to 1630.
- Responsible for nasal cannula to vent operations; must troubleshoot RT equipment like vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices.
- RNs need to read and interpret tele strips; experience with EPIC charting system.
- Shift hours are 0630-1830 and 1830-0630; self-scheduling available for core staff.
- Weekend work is required every other week.
- Holiday work is rotated based on the weekend group.
- Floating typically to PCU, potentially to MedSurg.
- Three shifts of unit-specific orientation will be provided.
- RTO should be submitted upfront with a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract; no additional RTO will be approved.
- The cancellation policy allows for up to 3 shifts to be canceled within the 13-week contract.
