Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Marketing Research, you'll be responsible for overseeing and directing our market research programs. Your role involves setting goals, establishing timelines and budgets, and developing strategies to guide our market research initiatives. As we develop the product roadmap and 3 year plans, you'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the best research path to execute. Additionally, you'll lead and mentor a team to achieve program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Set goals, timelines, and budgets for market research programs aligned with company objectives
- Market Research Strategy: Develop comprehensive market research plans to guide data collection and analysis
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to coordinate research efforts and leverage expertise
- Recruitment: Participate in recruiting researchers and experts to support market research activities
- Data Collection: Conduct market research, interviews, and surveys to gather relevant insights
- Participant Identification: Identify key participants and target demographics for research studies
- Analysis: Review research findings and analyze data to extract meaningful insights and trends
- Leadership: Lead and motivate staff to ensure effective teamwork and achievement of program goals
- Compliance: Implement company policies and regulations governing market research activities
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in market research roles with a track record of successfully leading research programs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Leadership ability with experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve results
- Proficiency in market research methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical standards governing market research practices
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
