The Loan Administrator will be responsible for processing various transactions for participated loans, syndicated loans, and municipal loans. The person will be responsible for processing payments and advances, processing incoming and outgoing wires to participants and/or borrowers, as well as preparing appropriate notifications of transactions. Board file maintenance changes to core system for debt service schedules or other payment schedules, as necessary.What we are looking for:
Posting syndication and/or participation transactions; retrieving notifications of incoming wires and syndication instructions; processing various transactions including advances, payments, fees, and rollovers.
Callback of Participation and Syndication notifications.
Preparing outgoing notifications to participant banks for syndicated loans.
Preparing outgoing wires for payments.
Boarding core system file maintenance changes to Participation, Syndication, and Municipal loans.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED.
1-3 years previous work experience with loan servicing and/or back-office operations, including ability to read and process complicated instructions and legal loan documentation.
Banking and Financial Services: Knowledge & skills typically resulting from one to three years' experience.
Participation, syndications, and municipal loans experience is a plus.
Basic math skills and competency with interest calculations: Knowledge & skills typically resulting from one to three years' experience.
Previous loan boarding experience: Knowledge & skills typically resulting from one to three years' experience.
Excellent organizational skills: ability to effectively multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office products, booking systems, calculators)
Effective communication skills and an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external business partners.
Prior knowledge of ACBS (CLS) Commercial Loan Servicing system for loan boarding and servicing functions is a plus.
Prior knowledge of FIS IBS application, FCM, and FTM functions is a plus.
Prior knowledge of WAB EPT applications is a plus.
