Work Schedule:

100%, day shift. Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:00AM and 6:00PM, with some schedule flexibility. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Office Assistant to:

  • Review and analyze patient Financial Assistance applications for required documentation and completeness as it relates to the UW Health Financial Assistance policy and program.
  • Maintain scanning and/or indexing of payment batches, financial documents, payor correspondences of the specific documents electronically.
  • Process incoming mail and prepare documents for scanning.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all HIPPA, confidentiality and compliance regulations, rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Effectively be able to prioritize electronic images to be processed to maximize the opportunity for downstream revenue cycle teams to perform their functions timely and effectively.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Work Experience
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative support role Preferred
