What you will be doing:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to identify project requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for steel erection projects; including take-offs, crew size selection, equipment selection, etc.
- Proficiently use Excel and Bluebeam for precise quantity takeoffs and pricing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness.
- Contribute to the improvement of estimating structure to modernize estimating production and output.
- 10+ years of experience as an Estimator in the steel erection field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, with an understanding of scope of work to bid.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
