Lead Host / Hostess
The lead host / hostess represent the first and last impression of the restaurant. The goal of an excellent lead host/hostess is to create a warm and welcoming environment and maximize the long-term earnings of the restaurant.
The lead host/hostess is responsible for:
• Greeting guests in an inviting manner, determining whether or not they have a reservation, and getting them properly checked in.
• Ensuring that guest information is delivered properly to appropriate Kitchen and Dining Room staff.
• Escorting guests to tables; pulling out chairs and assisting guests with tables.
• Hosts/Hostesses will also work coat check
• Booking reservations in a manner that optimizes the use of our tables
• Ensuring that the information we take from the guests is entered perfectly into Tock.
• Confirming every reservation prior to guest arrival.
• Greeting guests as they are leaving the restaurant.
• Routinely checking the guest restrooms and ensuring tidiness.
• Maintenance of the front desk and door.
• Going over all previsit guest related questions with management. Confirm all allergies then inform Chef so he can adequately prepare for all dietary restrictions for upcoming services.
This is a full-time position. Adherence to the Jungsik dress and personal hygiene code is required. Compensation based on experience.
