We're seeking a Senior Account Executive – Automotive Specialist in our Chicago, IL Market!

What You'll Do:

  • Immerse yourself in learning iHeartMedia’s Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products (we are constantly innovating and growing!)
  • Meet in person with clients in your market
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects in Salesforce
  • Foster and nurture relationships with the existing client base
  • Identify new opportunities and develop persuasive proposals to meet each client/agency evolving needs
  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets
  • Create effective marketing campaigns in line with the iHeartMedia brand and resources
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence
  • Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction
  • Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads
  • Negotiate rates and ensure prompt payments
  • Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis

What You'll Need:

  • Ability to interact with Automobile dealers, their agencies, and Tier Two dealer group representatives
  • Ability to understand, compile in PowerPoint, and explain automotive data derived from Google Analytics, Cross Sell, and Polk reports
  • Ability to speak the language of automobile dealers
  • Comfort in being in front of Dealer owners on a weekly basis
  • A love and passion for Auto
  • Entrepreneurial & motivated self-starter
  • Build a book of business that consistently produces budget-beating results through prospecting, presenting, and closing integrated marketing solutions plans
  • Proactive in driving revenue, increasing client base, and selling integrated marketing solutions
  • Ability to develop marketing solutions for new and/or current advertisers
  • Ability to negotiate win/win solutions that generate increased revenue
  • Ability to ask and close business for significant budgets
  • Good communication skills include speaking, listening, developing rapport, and presentation skills
  • Exhibit experience with prospecting and developing client business relationships
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced constantly changing environment
  • Ability to be self-sustaining and motivated
  • Exhibit the drive to succeed in a pure commissioned sales environment

Required Skills:

  • Background in Automotive a plus
  • Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Basic marketing knowledge about social media and websites
  • Reliable automobile to attend outside meetings
  • Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record
  • College education preferred
  • Background in related media sales a plus
