Position Title: Research Scientist, Cell and Gene Therapy
Pay rate: $45-48/hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct cell culture experiments to advance research, product development, technical support, and process improvements.
- Formulate and prepare reagents and cell culture media.
- Perform various chemical and biological assays.
- Conduct basic data analysis and generated summary reports.
- Assist in experimental design and the preparation of formal reports and presentations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve experimental issues.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Biology, Bioengineering, or related fields. M.S. candidates should possess at least 5 years of industrial experience in Cell or Gene Therapy.
- Experience with Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy, or Immunology.
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Experience with biomaterials is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Microbiology.
- Competency in using basic laboratory equipment (e.g., scales, pH meters).
- Familiarity with commonly used experimental and research methodologies.
- General knowledge of computer systems and productivity software.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
