Americas Partner Operations, Specialist

Location: Report to Headquarters in Boston, MA on a hybrid model

PTC’s business continuously evolves to bring product innovation and customer value to the marketplace. Revenue Operations ensures that Sellers and Partners have the tools, processes, support and resources necessary to achieve success.

Your Impact:

Within Revenue Operations, the Partner Operations team is accountable for all aspects of operational support to partners within the Partner Network. The Partner Operations Specialist will provide operational support for Partners and the Partner Network ecosystem with the goal of driving Partner efficiency, supporting achievement of company financial goals and the strategic success of the Partner Network. This will be accomplished through deep understanding of process, policies, tools and the business while pursuing continuous improvement and collaborative execution.

Your Day-To-Day:

Responsibilities span deal support, system support, provision of enablement through program and contract support.

  • Manage the Deal Registration process for the Americas.
    • Triage requests and render approval/rejection within an appropriate time and in accordance with program guidelines.
    • Collaborate cross functionally, as needed.
    • Proactively contribute to process and system enhancements.
  • Deliver operational support to the America’s Partner Ecosystem
    • Triage and address requests in a timely manner. Applicable topics may include:
      • Administering deal related contractual artifacts.
      • Providing first level support on process and system (Salesforce.com) related issues.
      • Providing order support to unblock issues which hinder or delay order submission.
      • Liaising with the Commercial Desk on complex deal structures.
  • Deliver regional enablement to Partners. This may include:
    • Delivery of ad hoc training on target topics.
    • Collaborating in the structured delivery of enablement to top partners in collaboration with the enablement team (process, policy and system topics).
  • Proactively manage the integrity of opportunity data in Salesforce in support of financial or operational analytics.
  • Actively pursue and promote operational efficiency recommendations for self, team members, Partners and Partner Managers.
  • Lean in to support team members if capacity challenges require and serve as a back-up resource on specific Microsoft management activities.
  • Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

    • Self-motivated individual, proactive contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
    • Proactive, effective communicator with strong organizational and inter-personal skills.
    • Skilled in the use of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com.
    • Strong operational or customer support orientation.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience working in operations at a software company or in a customer facing, support type role. Channel and SaaS experience preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Previous experience in working with software sellers.
