Position: Principal UX Designer
Experience: 12+ years
Location: Santa Clara (San Francisco BayArea)

PETADATA is hiring for the position(multiple):Principal UX Designer for one of our clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The idle candidate must have 12+ years as a UX Designer and; minimum of 3 years as a project/team lead.
- Must have Effective written and oral presentation skills in describing and detailing interaction designs.
- Should be able to quickly create site maps, interaction flow diagrams, and wireframes in Sketch, Figma, or Framer.
- Must be Passionate, engages others in clear and concise writing; loves writing an outline for a solution as much as designing the interaction.
- Should be able to Influence team members as well as external stakeholders, and can lead round table discussions with customers and end users.
- Must have the ability to explain advantages and disadvantages in a proposal, while keeping the audience focused on user investigation, use cases, and personas as part of a user-centered design process.
- Should be able to think on your feet; quickly analyze a problem, and break it down into component solutions.
- Must have a Track record of employing user research methods like focus groups, surveys, root-cause analysis, and usability in an ad-hoc fashion.
- Should be able to distill research findings and analyze customer feedback at a high level to better guide and inform stakeholders across c-suite, product, development, and sales engineering.
- Must be able to Perform secondary research and audits of competitive products and industry trends.
- Must be able to Follow accessibility and WCAG best practices and understand the challenges around education and implementation with Dev Ops.
- Should be able to Perform UX audits after handoff to ensure consistent style guide and Storybook adherence.
- Must have a Firm grasp of graphic design principles; info-hierarchy, responsive grid, composition, semantic and quantitative color palettes, color theory, contrast accessibility, and the fundamentals of typography and icon design.
- You must have a variety of web applications for expert users who need to make complex settings and policy decisions.
- Solving for layers of use cases and personas in a single UI that readily scales and adapts.
- Should be able to work Bespoke tables, charts, and dashboard interactions for technical users tasked with making mission-critical decisions for applications and infrastructure.
- Must have Proficiency in designing table-based applications with bulk interactions, dataset filtering, modular navigation, and forms.
- Must have Experience designing information-appropriate visualizations, charts, and diagrams according to data type, and then investigating use cases and testing your proposals in the field.
- Should have Experience designing diagram creation applications, using a canvas-style drag-and-drop that is interactive, scalable, responsive, and accessible.
- Must be able to support UI Patterns that support deep and broad navigation.
- You must Lead and mentor a team of UX Designers.
- Should be able to Improve the usability and user experience of Fabric Manager.
- Must work on Ideation and design of the next generation of Fabric Manager.
- Should be able to Translate product requirements into tangible user experiences.
- Must be able to Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Should work Working with teams across time zones..
- The idle candidate Experience in 5 + Years of Experience in Sketch, Figma, Framer, HTML, and CSS.
- You must be Experienced in creating responsive clickthrough prototypes.
- Must have very good Experience with design systems, building atomic and responsive components in Framer, or master-level competency with auto layout in Figma.
- Should have Experience with developer integrations like design tokens, Zero Height, Storybook, Full Story, and Pendo would be a plus.
- Should have Experience coding in React a plus.
