The Opportunity:
We're a fast-paced, highly collaborative software engineering team building and launching capability for web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field. We work with nation-level, mission-critical Cyber defense processes, workflows, and sensor data in security risk management, compliance, and continuous monitoring. We're looking for a passionate, self-starter System Administration and DevSecOps Engineer to help us deploy, operate, and monitor Enterprise-scale production systems.
You'll have the opportunity to work on CI/CD automation with a software engineering team and deploy and operate complex systems provided as a service to dozens of customers across classification networks. You'll be responsible for recommending, designing, and building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, and monitoring scripts and tools. You'll deploy new versions, troubleshoot operational issues, and work with internal and external teams to advance hosting and operations.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or System Administrator
- 2+ years of experience with Windows Server, Domain Controllers, or IIS
- 2+ years of experience with operating relational databases, including SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL
- 2+ years of experience with development and scripting in .NET, Powershell, C#, Java, or Go
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Github, or Gitlab
- Experience with AWS Cloud, including networking, IAM, EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, or RDS
- Experience with container orchestration, including Docker, AWS ECS, or Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Secret clearance
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with observability tools, including Prometheus or Grafana
- Experience with Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or Ansible
- Experience with Linux, including Red Hat or CentOS
- Experience with DoD STIGs
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- TS/SCI clearance
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation:
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
