Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The National Sales Manager is responsible for direct and indirect sales of Leer products. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and understanding evolving needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a high-level of customer satisfaction.

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the sales team and management.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.

Sales Quota Achievement:

  • Set and achieve annual sales targets by product and or customer.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to the sales leadership team.

Proposal and Contract Negotiation:

  • Prepare persuasive sales proposals tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product development to ensure alignment of sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback and improve overall customer experience.

Represent Leer at industry trade association meetings to generate new customers and grow business opportunities with current customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education. 3-5 years sales experience in retail, refrigeration or scientific industries. Proven track record of success in B2B sales or account management. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proven project management and analytical skills. Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts. Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred. A background in sales, customer relations, account management or a related field is required.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Other Qualifications

Requires the ability to travel up to 50%.
