Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to work under the Senior Network Architect, supporting the company's engineering and automation initiatives across Rural King Supply. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, troubleshoot system challenges, and optimize environments for efficiency. Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining backups, automation scripting, database management, and ensuring system security and redundancy strategies. You will also assist with high-level root-cause analysis, reporting solutions, and actively engage in ongoing training and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Engineering, escalating responsibilities
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Azure Cloud, Linux, and VMWare
• Strong scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with backup tools (Cohesity), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and security protocols (SPF, DKIM, Duo)
• Experience supporting high-availability, retail, or 24/7 operations
• Knowledge of Agile/CI/CD methodologies and ITIL processes
