We’re currently looking for: Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure
RingCentral has a big distributed and high loaded system. Our Infrastructure team is providing Docker infrastructure for LAB environments and Production services in our Data Centers and in Amazon Cloud. We use Kubernetes and it is a big part of our work - from designing docker infrastructure to creation of automation for deployments of clusters in cloud and on-premise facilities. Also you will be working on the development of RingCentral's own infrastructure solutions such as DNS, package and image repositories, mail relays and NTP, as well as building app packages for our tools deployments. We do everything for our services - development, modification, deployment and support. We provide solid and reliable infrastructure for RingCentral’s Production systems and for the development of these systems.
Job Duties:
Provide ongoing support for production environment in terms of delivering changes, troubleshoot, manage issues, perform root cause analysis, facilitate blameless postmortems
Research and Develop solutions for Docker (Kubernetes, Spinnaker) infrastructure in DCs and Amazon, DNS systems, RPM repositories, OS customization, GIT
Work on IaaC with Terraform
Actively contribute to production stability improvements (monitoring, processes improvements, automation)
Develop infrastructure solutions
Work with CI/CD processes - use and create
Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
Communicate and collaborate with adjacent teams (Operations, QA, Development)
Continuously improve and share knowledge of system, update documentation
Deployment evening shifts

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and equivalent practical experience
Knowledge and experience in production support activities
Understanding of SRE principles and DevOPS practices
Good knowledge of Linux and popular open-source applications
Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP networks
Expertise automating system administration tasks with configuration management tools
Good knowledge for one of scripting languages (bash, Python)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and ability to implement deployment activities automation
Familiar with application and service monitoring tools and techniques

If you are hired in Denver, Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $107,100 and $153,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
