Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers. The Infant and Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering positive relationships with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  2. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  3. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills.
  4. Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services.
  5. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.
  8. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood setting is essential.
  3. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
  4. First aid certification is a requirement.
  5. Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions and learning experiences.
  6. Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to different learning styles.
  7. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  8. A commitment to continuous professional development in early childhood education.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
