Position Summary: The Associate Director, US Healthcare Provider (HCP) Marketing is responsible for supporting HCP marketing activities for first-in-class FILSPARI (sparsentan). FILSPARI is currently approved in the US for the treatment of IgA nephropathy (IgAN), a rare kidney disease, and in development for another rare kidney disease, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). This position will report to the Senior Director, HCP Marketing and will help drive ongoing uptake of FILSPARI in IgAN and prepare for the potential of a second indication in FSGS. The preferred applicant for this role should have demonstrated ability in the development of marketing tactics for both in-market and launch pharmaceutical products, ideally with experience in rare disease and/or nephrology. This role will lead the planning and execution of branded and disease state education marketing tactics for FILSPARI, with a primary focus on tactics delivered via field sales representatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the planning and execution of healthcare provider-directed branded and disease state education marketing tactics for FILSPARI across current and potential future indications (e.g., core visual aid, HCP website, videos, leave behinds, article reprints, rep-triggered emails, etc.)
  2. Partner with Sales Leadership and Sales Training on the development and deployment of promotional resources for FILSPARI's national Clinical Account Management (CAM) team
  3. Lead the development of promotional assets (e.g., exhibit booths, sponsorship tactics, etc.) for regional and national medical conferences and congresses
  4. Partner with Associate Director, HCP & Patient Channel Strategy on development of digital drivers / omnichannel assets for healthcare providers (e.g., banner ads, paid search, custom content, etc.)
  5. Lead ongoing Tactical Planning for the Healthcare Provider marketing team aligned with strategy and evolving landscape dynamics
  6. Ensure that the FILSPARI positioning, branding and messaging are integrated across all promotional communications to healthcare providers
  7. Engage and manage agencies of record to execute relevant projects
  8. Ensure deliverables are within budget and achieve business objectives
  9. Partner cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Analytics, Market Access, Patient Advocacy and Patient Services to drive key cross-functional strategic initiatives in support of the continued growth of FILSPARI.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree preferred but not required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  2. 8+ years' Marketing experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, or related agency experience with demonstrated advancement in roles and scope.

  7. Experience achieving commercial business objectives within a highly regulated environment
  8. Experience developing and executing upon market insights in support of business objectives
  9. Strong curiosity and willingness to learn quickly and roll up their sleeves
  10. Exceptionally strong attention to detail and overall organization
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
  12. Ability to travel up to 30% domestically
