Business Risk Senior Analyst, AVP, Tampa (Hybrid)

Join Citi's In-business Operational Risk and Control Support team covering the Markets Businesses, with a focus on Equities . The In-business Operational Risk and Control Support team participates in a number of critical in-business control and governance processes. The role will support projects to enhance the business control framework across the respective businesses and assist in the identification of operational risk issues, while implementing both tactical and strategic solutions to manage these risks, enhance and monitor controls and ensure adherence with Citi policy and standards.

The candidate will join a dynamic and diverse global team of Business Managers. Ability to leverage the team skills and experience is key to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the In-Business Risk & Control and Business Management teams to maintain and enhance the control environment and develop the MCA content
2. Work with the Business Supervisors, Technology & Control partners to document our control framework ensuring consistency in application between all regions and countries
3. Participate in the Quarterly Risk Assessment (QRA) process, including the preparation of management metrics and analysis of operational risk as well as reviewing global monitoring results.
4. Participate in the Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) process, including preparing presentations and metrics
5. Support the tracking of Operational Risk Events and Issues impacting the MCA
6. Support the evolution of the MSS control framework and assist with delivery of solutions to sufficiently mitigate existing and new emerging risks. Drive forward control enhancement initiatives and investigate control failures
7. Interact with MSS Transformation teams, ORM, Compliance, Internal Audit and other control functions to provide deliverables and business insight. Participate as required in ad-hoc reviews and regulatory / supervisory examinations of the wider Rates and Currencies business
8. Support the Regulatory Inventory Mapping initiative to map regulations to controls
9. Support ad-hoc initiatives where required

Requirements:

1. 2-5 years’ work experience in financial services
2. Experience of project work
3. Excellent problem solving and communications skills (written / verbal)
4. Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset
5. Ability to manage and prioritise effectively and resolve conflicting priorities
6. High level of computer literacy, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
7. Excellent academic background educated to a minimum of degree level or sufficient industry experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range: $87,280.00 - $130,920.00
