BDC Representative - Legal Sales Los Angeles, CA

The Matian Firm is looking for a BDC Representative for Legal Sales. In this role, one is responsible for handling inbound clientele service requests, such as appointment setting, case vetting, and general questions. The BDC Representative for Legal Sales is also responsible for screening potential client calls to determine if The Matian Firm can represent a prospect’s case and assisting our legal team with initiating new client cases. We help represent the Spanish speaking population; thus, fluent bilingualism in Spanish is required .

Responsibilities include:

1. Handling inbound phone calls, setting appointments, and screening prospective clients before scheduling an attorney-client consultation.
2. Tracking and monitoring potential new client inquiries and leads (email, internal, and phone referrals).
3. Assisting with answering customer inquiries and problems by routing customers to the proper contact and/or department.
4. Accurately logging client information in our software database system.
5. Assisting attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databases.
6. Writing emails, transcribing notes, researching legal documents, faxing, copying, and creating spreadsheets.
7. Carrying out prospective client interviews/interactions with genuine empathy and compassion.
8. Adhering to strict business dress code and punctuality standards.

Those with BDC sales, metric-based, and/or KPI-based work experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

1. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with written and verbal proficiency.
2. At least 2 years of experience doing intake, preferably in the legal field preferred but not required.
3. Case Management software experience is a major plus.
4. Great interpersonal skills, extending patience when working with individuals and proactivity when issues arise.
5. Ability to maintain several responsibilities at once and time-management skills, prioritizing high and low-level demands adequately.
6. Excellent customer service attitude in fast-paced environments.

Pay Range: Junior ($19-$25/hr) Senior ($25-$28/hr)

Pay range is subject to change based on experience on a case-by-case basis.
