We're seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee and lead the strategic recruiting efforts at our organization. The Talent Acquisition Manager will source the brightest talent across a variety of departments that include but are not limited to marketing, sales, account management, instructional design, technology, enrollment and student support.
Location and Work Schedule: This full-time position will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and is based in Chicago, IL. Everspring operates on a hybrid model. You can find us in the office 2 days per week for in-person collaboration. However, flexibility will be required for the individual in this role as they will facilitate onsite interviews and new employee orientations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment activities from intake meetings with hiring managers, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, hiring and onboarding new employees.
- Present weekly recruitment updates to the leadership team.
- Create an exceptional candidate experience both virtually and in person.
- Measure and own key business metrics such as Time to Fill, retention of new hires, etc.
- Work with all hiring managers to drive clear and consistent messaging about our mission, vision, and values.
- Position Everspring as a great place to work and design & execute branding strategy with the VP HR and our in-house marketing team.
- Oversee all job board contracts, including but not limited to, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and conduct regular meetings with vendors to measure success of these resources.
- Facilitate new employee orientation, in collaboration with the HR team.
- Provide trainings and resources around interviewing techniques and best practices to hiring managers.
- Support and collaborate with the HR team on various HR Projects as needed.
- Examples include, employee engagement and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Build relationships with university campuses for opportunities for internship or entry-level roles.
- Manage company career page and ATS Breezy HR.
- As needed, manage relationships with third party recruitment agency.
- Support HR department with company-wide events as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of corporate or higher education recruiting experience.
- Experience owning full recruitment process for an organization, independently.
- Comfortable with new technology including Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter and HRIS.
- Strong time management, organization, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with an ability to influence others.
- Superb negotiation skills.
Preferred
- PHR, SHRM or other certification related to talent management.
