USHJA seeks a Managing Director of Marketing. This position will oversee Marketing and Communications operations, requiring exceptional leadership by being a valued partner inspiring creativity and innovation.

You will report to the Director of Brand Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, and the position is based at USHJA headquarters in Lexington, KY, with a hybrid work schedule: M-T home, W-F in office.

Position Summary:
The United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) seeks a skilled Managing Director for Marketing. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, this role oversees Marketing and Communications operations, requiring exceptional leadership and equestrian industry passion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to the Director of Brand Marketing.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
  • Administer a creative marketing strategy across digital, print, and PR channels.
  • Execute overall marketing strategy and manage communications for USHJA programs.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategy and ensure consistent branding.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and PR efforts.
  • Manage marketing material creation and production.
  • Monitor metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and continuous learning.
  • Support budget management and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Represent USHJA at industry events.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Position based at USHJA headquarters in Lexington, KY.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Occasional travel by air or automobile.
