Title: Plant/Site Controller
Location: Newark or Plainsboro (supporting Georgia site) - Minimum 3 days in office per week
Duration: 1 year possibility to extend

Bachelor's Required In Accounting or Finance

Position Overview reporting to P&B US Operations Finance Lead based in Plainsboro NJ, the purpose of this role is to assist temporarily, on daily activities to ensure financial accounting and reporting needs of the plant are met to enable the plant management team to obtain their budgeted financial goals and objectives.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide financial assistance to the Sr plant controller on daily activities to ensure sound financial on operational decisions.
Use analysis techniques and metrics to identify and make recommendations to plant management to improve operational performance and lower unit costs.
Strong cost control and planning discipline to assist senior plant management in controlling manufacturing costs.
Support on the annual budget process for the plant, including preparation of the financial manufacturing budget plan and product standard costs.
ssist inventory management team, on reviewing obsolete items, provide feedback and recommendations to proceed with recovery and accruals.
ssist plant management team with capital planning, including calculating and evaluating financial payback on all capital expenditure proposals.
Work with plant/corporate finance on several initiatives including providing cost information for innovation and cost reduction projects.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the plants accounting systems and records, as well as, strict compliance to all company policies, procedures, and controls.
Key focus areas include to support financial closing activities on timely manner, labor cost and utilization, asset utilization and overhead expenditure control.
Candidate Profile Experience and Education :
minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience, chemical or food and cosmetics industries experience preferred.
