Position Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager like you to join our growing Mobility Solutions team! The Senior Business Product Manager is responsible for leading the vision and execution of Bridgestone’s Digital Service Delivery strategy and leveraging BASys. This role will support Bandag with primary focus on our retread tire business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team that drives the mobility product vision within Bridgestone, driving stakeholder alignment to ensure operational readiness, and engaging with sales and other channel partners to ensure sales effectiveness and execution. You will own the P&L for the Digital Service Delivery platform, and be responsible for all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and driving execution partners in various organizations to meet delivery, revenue and cost targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of individual contributors and people leaders that own key aspects of the definition execution of the Digital Service Delivery platform
  • Drive the product roadmap, to ensure that feature evolution and integrations are aligned with customer and channel partner needs
  • Manage delivery execution with product, ensuring that budgeted and planned development occurs as expected / committed
  • Ensure that stakeholder organizations are equipped to execute on key aspects of product operations, including training (customer and service provider), sales (direct and indirect through resellers), customer onboarding and support
  • Partner with finance, sales, channel partners and external stakeholders to evolve pricing for product services to meet the needs of Bridgestone’s customers and channel partners
  • Ensure that the ERS function – a key execution component of the Digital Service Delivery platform – is operating smoothly, and that third-party suppliers are meeting commitments
  • Evaluate opportunities to expand the Digital Service Delivery platform through partnership, M&A and commercial agreements. Serves as the business lead in all evaluations and negotiations
  • Partner with other Mobility Solutions Product Business Managers to assess potential integrations and product bundling strategies that can drive value for Bridgestone’s customers and channel partners
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of the Digital Service Delivery platform; provides regular updates to Mobility Solutions leadership
  • Present in the regular Mobility Solutions initiative updates and Mobility Solutions executive leadership team meetings as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business or related field; MBA Preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience with emphasis on Product Management / Product Development; ideally for software and / or subscription products
  • Previous people leadership experience preferred
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional teams, comprised of diverse internal and 3rd party groups
  • Proficient with financial analysis; able to drive a business case exercise in partnership with finance
  • Experience with software solutions for automotive, commercial fleets and / or service providers a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills; comfortable developing content and driving leadership discussions, and effectively leading working teams
  • High-energy and self-directed
  • Ability to travel, as needed

Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years of relevant experience including 7+ years management or leadership experience or Master’s degree; 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years management or leadership experience.
