As part of an innovative, high-functioning team, you will collaborate with other technology solution providers, product managers, and engineers to implement innovative solutions to make the platform scale, perform, and seamlessly integrate into Workday’s technologies.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  1. 8+ years experience with object modeling, application design, OO design, and development in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, XO, etc.
  2. 3+ years building and managing high-performing engineering teams as well as hiring top-class engineers.
  3. BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications:

  1. Capable of being a hands-on software development leader.
  2. Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
  3. Excited to support team members' career growth and development.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  5. Ensures a psychologically safe environment for team members.
  6. Experience in Payroll application development is a plus.
  7. Excited to innovate and explore modern technologies to build new and exciting features/capabilities.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
