AWS Architect - Austin TX

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design and implement efficient infrastructure solutions using Terraform, AWS, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, scripting, and a strong understanding of DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain Terraform templates and modules for provisioning AWS resources.
• Design and implement AWS resources including API Gateway, Lambda functions, and authentication patterns.
• Develop Helm templates for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Write and maintain Python or Shell scripts for automation and deployment tasks.
• Contribute to Python development for various projects and APIs.
• Manage GitHub repositories, including setting up GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and integrating scans like Sonar and AppSec.
• Establish and implement a branching strategy for version control.
• Utilize GitOps practices for managing deployments and infrastructure as code.
• Design and deploy serverless authentication services in AWS Lambda and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps architecture design and strategy.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong experience with AWS services, particularly in building serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Helm and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and architecture design.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in developing and deploying Python APIs.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms and patterns in cloud environments.
