Director of Engineering – Custom Fabrication

Are you passionate about leading engineering teams and driving innovation in custom fabrication with metal, aluminum, electrical, and lighting ? We’re seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee our engineering department and deliver high-quality, custom solutions. You’ll lead a team of 10-15 engineers, manage project lifecycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 12+ engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle for custom fabrication projects, ensuring all designs meet technical specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
• Drive technical innovation in custom fabrication using SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D/3D , and other engineering tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, sales, and project management to align on business objectives and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D/3D .
• Experience with custom fabrication, especially with metal, aluminum, electrical, and lighting .
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
